Gloomy Day Enchantment
A week ago visiting Harrison Lake I was fascinated by the quiet beauty of the empty lake shore on the winter gloomy day. I used acrylic limited colors to depict a special mood.
Iryna Kharina is a Ukrainian born artist, who lives and works in Burnaby continuing to create her paintings. She is an active member of the Burnaby Artist Guild and the Federation of Canadian Artists. Iryna’s art based on the academic background and twenty years of artist’s experience in painting. Landscape and still-life in oil are the basic genres of her paintings.
Her technique and color style have been changed under the influence of the Canadian Art traditions.
Being a third generation artist, Iryna has begun her art career with attempts to embody imagination of the three year old child that later became the main career’s path of her life. She has a Master of Fine Art. Being a full-time artist, Iryna actively participates in the art shows all over Greater Vancouver. Iryna’s artworks are in the national and international private collections.
